Flash resigned

In a move that should surprise nobody, the Caps have resigned Tomas Fleischmann to a contract.

Tarik El Bashir had the drop on this story 10 days ago. Though I have to wonder how much the injury to Eric Fehr played into this. I don't think Flash would have gotten the chance on the top line with A.O. and Viktor Kozlov had Fehr been healthy at the start of camp.

Now Flash will have to carry his preseason play through the entire regular season.
