Final Thoughts:

At some point in time this season the fact that the Caps are giving up over 40 shots per game is going to start costing them games. It should also be noted that D.C. United was winning a lot of games early in the season when they were not playing their best. We all know how D.C. United's season ended. While I am happy that the Caps are winning, a false sense of confidence should not begin to creep in. The next really big test for this team how do they handle the losing streak that is eventually going to come because that will tell us just how far this team has to go. 17 down 65 to go.
