RBC Center, Raleigh, NC. 7:05 pm. Washington TV: Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic. Radio: WTEM 980-AM. Carolina TV: Fox Sportsnet South. Radio: Y102.9 FM. NHL Center Ice: Fox Sportsnet South feed.

Tonight the Caps hit the ice for the first time since their thrilling come-from-behind win over Ottawa on Monday night that gave them back-to-back wins for the first time this season. The Caps are in Carolina facing a Hurricanes team that dropped a 3-2 game on Tuesday night in a gimmick.

What Do I Expect Tonight?:

The Caps are feeling pretty good about themselves after beating up on a bad Flyers team and taking advantage of a reeling Ottawa team (who blew another lead on the road last night) and are starting to believe more in themselves. The Caps are facing a Canes team that is a lot closer to .500 than the Flyers or Senators are so the Caps newfound confidence will face a test tonight.

From The Ron Webber File:

The Caps have yet to beat a team this season that is over .500. When they defeated the Florida Panthers, the Panthers were 3-3 entering the game. Luckily for the Caps, the Canes are under .500.
