Well, the night Ultimate Fighting on Ice fans have been waiting for is finally here. After their last brawl-filled meeting, the Caps will try to get their first win against the Thrashers this season in five games. The Caps of course have been off since blowing a 4 goal lead on home ice to the Penguin Scum on Monday night. The Thrashers have lost three in a row, most recently a 2-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on home ice Wednesday night.

What Do I Expect Tonight?:

Well, disappointment for Ultimate Fighting on Ice fans. These types of hyped games oftentimes leave people very disappointed. I'm not saying there won't be any fights tonight, but I don't think the Ultimate Fighting on Ice fans will be satisfied. This game will have to get out of hand on the scoreboard very quickly for there to even be a chance at that occurring. The NHL is well aware of what happened the last time these two teams met and will be sending a much better officiating crew to the game tonight than they did last time. The Caps will be playing for the first time since blowing the four goal lead on Monday night. How well the Caps react to getting a lead tonight will be a key point. The Caps have blown 2-0 leads to the Thrashers twice so far this season. With Atlanta reeling right now, there's a few very good chance the Caps could build another lead and let Atlanta comeback once again to win.
