Final Thoughts:

I'm almost inclined to say that over an 82 game season that these games are bound to happen. However, this is the third such game this season and for a team that wants to make the playoffs, that is too frequent. The Caps have two more games left on this road trip, but they are against the two toughest opponents on the trip. Holding a closed door team meeting after the game means that the articles the Caps have seen about the Flyers and Panthers are now being written about them. Maybe the Caps can do to Ottawa what the Panthers did to them instead of playing like the Flyers for the Senators. 45 down 37 to go.
