Final Thoughts:

Not a whole lot left to say expect that the Caps only took 12 shots in the second and third periods after taking 14 in the first. It would be nice to see a full 60 minute effort but they got the job done last night. 5 down 77 to go.

The Caps head back out on the road on the heels of their win last night over the Panthers. They visit the Thrashers who have been idle since beating the Caps 4-3 in OT last Saturday night at the phone booth. The Caps are playing on consecutive nights for the first time this season.

What Do I Expect Tonight:

Last year the Caps were 13-28 away from the Phone Booth and so far this year, I haven't seen anything different on the road. In the two road games that the Caps have played so far, they didn't show up in the first and played for a gimmick in the second. Atlanta has been resting since Saturday and the Caps have had their issues in Phillips Arena in recent years. Until the Caps can prove that they can play and win consistently on the road, I can't expect them to win there.
