Game 2 Saturday, 1 pm

NBC just announced that Game 2 of the Caps-Rangers Series will be Saturday, April 18th at 1 pm. We figure that means that Game 1 is Thursday night to preserve at least an every other night start to the first round. The rest of schedule will trickle out later...

UPDATE: Finally had a chance to look the arena scheduling and should the NHL decide, they could go every other day starting the series on Thursday the 16 with Game 1. Game 2 which we already know is Saturday the 18th at 1 pm at the Phone Booth. MSG has events on the 18th, 25th, and 28th and the Knicks, like the Bullets, are not going to the NBA playoffs. So Games 3 and 4 can be in New York on the 20th and 22nd. Game 5 in D.C. on the 24th if it gets that far. Game 6 in New York on the 26th (NBC has a 2 pm slot) if needed and then back to DC for Game 7 on the 28th if needed.
