The Caps tonight take their six game losing streak back on the road to face the Ning who have won three in a row since dropping a 7-2 game to Buffalo on November 20th. After some false promise on Saturday night, Alexander Semin is expected to return tonight and Richard Zednik will be a gametime decision.

What Do I Expect Tonight?:

At some point in time the Caps losing streak will end folks. I know it is chic to short out the panic button and go all doom and gloom with this hockey team after they lose a couple of games. First of all it pays to remember that this isn't a playoff team in the first place. Hopefully the return of Semin tonight along will increase the skill level of this team to the point where they can at least score more than one or two goals. Of course it would be even better if Semin not only returned, but brought his scoring touch back with him.
