Final Thoughts:

One thing that we noticed last night but forgot to mention was that while the Caps Power Play was only 1 for 5, the Caps were still able to impose their will on San Jose during the man advantage. The Caps had 8 shots total on the five Power Plays and the Sharks knew exactly what we were trying to do with the puck. Give the credit to Evgeni Nabokov for coming up with the saves but the fact that the Caps were able to get what they wanted is just another sign of how good this team is. Good teams are still able to execute their game plans even when the other team knows exactly what's coming.
