Caps @ Bruins 1-3-2007 Wrap Up

The Local Yokels:

(Com)Post. Times. Caps.com.

The Neutral Observers:

NHL.com AP Wire.

The Other Side:

Boston Globe: pitching a shutout, fitting in. Boston Herald: cracking down, contributing, Chara on patrol. Bruins.com.

Final Thoughts:

This is what is so frustrating about this team. We'll go out and score 14 goals on the best team in the conference over two games and then get shutout by a team in the log jam for the final playoff spot. From what I did see, "cute" and "fancy" were certainly apt descriptions of what we were trying to do on offense last night. And while Jeff "Sergeant" Schultz needs to be stronger on his skates, the officials need to call offensive interference like Chuck Kobasew pushing Sarge into Olie Kolzig to create open space for himself and moving picks in the offensive zone.

41 down, 41 to go.
