Final Thoughts:

I don't know about you, but I'm certainly not complaining about the bad ice at the Phone Booth for one night. Though is anybody surprised to see our old friend Jaromir Jagr now causing trouble on Broadway? What makes it all the more interesting is that the Rangers are a game over .500 and tied for first place in the Atlantic Division. It only makes you wonder just what he would be like if the Rangers were any worse but it shouldn't take too long to find out because he has a knack for making teams come apart at the seams. Finally, thanks to our old friend and NHL Rules Enforcer Larry Brooks for informing everybody that Michael Nylander has a rotator cuff injury when nobody else can find out that information. It makes perfect sense that Nylander is out with an injured rotator cuff when the Caps beat write says he's practicing at full speed with no trouble passing or shooting.

31 down, 51 to go.
