Schultz Finally Sent Down

As I first saw from JP this morning (I had work to catch up on which is why I didn't get around to this sooner), Jeff "Sergeant" Schultz was sent to Hershey which is where he belongs if John Erskine-Bowles is going to play every night. And with the team at 3-0 and only giving up 2 goals on the season to this point, there's really no argument to change the lineup.

While Erskine-Bowles is no favorite around here, as long as he keeps his game simple and does not go running around looking for the big hit, he's ok as a 6th or 7th defenseman and nothing more. (Plus it is fun for the time being to point out that a hack like him is currently leading the reigning scoring champ from last year, Canadian Diving Team Captain, Secondary Assist Cindy Crosby)

This also gives the Caps the ability to bring Steve Eminger off of IR if and when they chose to do so. Though again, here's another kid who needs to play if for no other reason than to showcase his talents for the trading market.
