Tonight the Caps road trip rolls into The Garage in the Pacific Northwest for a matchup with the Vancouver Canucks. The Caps are coming off of a well played 5-3 victory over the Avalanche on Wednesday night. The Canucks are coming off a 5-0 shutout of the Blackhawks in the Windy City from Wednesday night. The last time the Caps were in Vancouver they got steamrolled 6-0 and I didn't drink nearly enough alcohol that night to erase the memory. While staying more sober than most of my traveling companions (which trust me, isn't saying much) kept me out of trouble, I still can't get the sight of that skanky 16 year old's thong out of my head. Maybe I should have drank more with LaCanfora and Kolbe.....

Anyway, enough of the trip down memory lane, let's get on this with this.

What Do I Expect Tonight?:

As relentlessly mentioned by the Vancouver press and the Canucks themselves, the Caps have had their issues vs. Luongo in the past not mention bad games in Vancouver overall. Vancouver is playing just their third home game this season. Despite the strong start to the trip in Denver, I'm sorry to say that I don't like our chances tonight. This could get ugly.
