Final Thoughts:

Don't look now, but once you decipher the NHL's bizarre tie breaker system (in which the first official tie breaker becomes moot once the regular season ends), the Penguin Scum currently stand as our first round playoff opponent. Relax folks, there are no gimmicks in the playoffs. (Unless you count getting Canadian Diving Team Captain, Secondary Assist Low Blow Cindy Crosby as far as possible a gimmick. Which it is and yes, that will happen, but for the time being we're talking about the shootout here.) And if you really are worried about the prospect, all we have to do is tank a couple of more games to Carolina and the problem is solved; the Penguin Scum won't make it.
