Final Thoughts:

With a much needed four day break in the schedule now upon us, the Caps certainly needed that kind of win. Even if there wasn't a flu bug running through the team, we can't blame Bruce Boudreau for giving the team a couple of days off. After all, there is two more weeks of the regular season and then what the team hopes will be a deep playoff run, which go could as long as two more months. When the Caps get back to work on Monday in preparation for the final six games, it should be a different story.
