Final Thoughts:

Come playoff time, the Caps are going to have to play a slow it down grind it out type of game like Colorado forced them into last night. The wide-open freewheeling style that they enjoy will get them into trouble as teams will fight for every inch of the ice and pack in things in front of their own goaltender. And for those of you who still believe that this team is a true contender for the Stanley Cup (which for the record, we don't), we'll have to beat a Western Conference team in order to win the Cup. We believe that the Caps can play a grind it out kind of game, but have a hard time seeing the Caps beating a Western Conference team four times in seven games.
