Having six days off is a blessing and a curse. It is a blessing because the injured players get a chance to rest and heal. It is curse because with a seven game winning streak; we will lose our rhythm and momentum as the rust sets in. Philly has a five day break so they'll deal with the same problems. Also, I'm not liking the back end of the series being three games in four nights and Games Six and Seven being on back-to-back nights. At least there is minimal travel involved.
Finally, for all the complaining that we've done about the lack of national coverage for the Caps, it looks as if the entire first round series will have some sort of National Coverage (Game 7 hasn't been determined yet). Give credit to the NHL for finally realizing that A.O. is the most electrifying player in the league and giving him the push he deserves.
