Even when the Caps were winning recently, they were giving up leads and falling behind in games so this cannot come as much of a surprise as you knew this was going to catch up to them. This is starting to turn into a situation that the Redskins faced at the end of their season, where a well timed run of good play could catapult them into a playoff spot they really don't deserve because should the Caps make the playoffs, who can they beat right now in a seven game series?
