Final Thoughts:
Ok, so last night was a bummer but we are still going to lose games down the stretch. What the Caps need to do is to win more than they lose. I know that sounded Yogi Berra Obvious but remember folks; only Mr. Donald Brashear, Captain Chris Clark, Matt "Omar" Bradley, Michael Nylander, Brian Pothier, Tom Poti, Olie Kolzig, Brent Johnson, and Viktor Kozlov have played in the playoffs. Most of these guys have fewer than 20 games of playoff experience and Clark, Nylander, and Pothier are out for the foreseeable future. Those guys on the poster season ticket holders are angry they aren't getting have 0, 0, 0, and 0 games of NHL playoff experience. If you don't think that makes a difference, think again. Calder Cups are nice, but they aren't Stanley Cups and are no indicator of success at the NHL level. If nothing else, we're getting experience that will help us out next year.
56 down, 26 to go.
