Tonight the Caps get right back at it at home when they face the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers aren't nearly as bad as they were last year as they currently sit alone atop the Atlantic Division. However, the Flyers lost 5-2 last night in Montreal which was their third loss in their last four games.

Open Source Intelligence:

Philadelphia Daily News: Habbed not, talking to Forsberg, Tonight's game (every game is a home game for the Flyers). Philadelphia Inquirer: poor start leads to loss, Forsberg being tested, Downie returning.

What Do I Expect Tonight?:

Two teams coming off of disappointing losses, in the middle of long road trips (the Caps just played three on the road, play at home tonight and then have 3 more on the road, for all intents and purposes, this is another road game tonight), and playing on back-to-back nights. Antero Nittymaki is expected to start for Philly and Brent Johnson could go for the Caps. The Flyers are improved as that scumbag Dani Briere and Joffrey Lupul are the newcomers among the team's leaders in points. The Flyers have also returned to their "Broad Street Bullies" ways by already leading the league by a mile in suspensions. If the Caps can shutdown the one line for the Flyers that is producing right now and avoid the temptation to take retaliatory penalties, the Caps have a good chance to win tonight. They need to keep their game simple and once again get pucks to the net and create traffic in front as the Flyers are missing a couple of important defensemen.

Caps Nut Official Prediction:

Caps 4
Flyers 2
Winner by Gordon

(4-8 on the season)
